Visited Chubby Cattle on a weekday afternoon to avoid crowds and wait times. The restaurant was about half filled, the service was so quick and really enjoyed the experience. Ordered the top tier and I'll probably stick to that one as I enjoyed everything it came with. I appreciated being able to order the items via an iPad and the servers came right out with what I'd just ordered. They also time it and put a limit to how many items you can order at once which helps the process as well. Since the restaurant wasn't full it wasn't too loud or smoky and really made for a good experience.

This review is for the private room Diamond tier experience. I can honestly say that the general experience and private room experience are so totally different that you could say it is two different restaurants. In my opinion, wait for a special occasion, gather the troops (min party size 8), be ready to pay for Diamond tier eating. This experience is worth the price. You get the private space for a considerably less noisy environment - it is very loud downstairs. You get a private server. You get a set reservation and avoid the unknown lengthy wait time. Food is the same and great regardless of which space you dine in.

This is the BEST AYCE bbq you can go to! I came here for a friend's birthday and got the diamond tier. We came around 3:30pm and there was no line! We got the special box with a variety of meats and chose the A5 wagyu cube! The presentation was awesome, the waiter opened the box and the meats were displayed with smoke coming from liquid nitrogen. Definitely appreciated the flair. And the A5 wagyu cube was the most delicious bite ever! I was a little confused on how much to cook it at first but once I got a good sear on all sides, it was crispy and charred on the outside but had a fatty, melty center. I don't even have to explain how delicious all the wagyu meat was, iykyk. My second favorite was definitely short rib. Aside from the wagyu, I loved all the sides we got! Definitely got a few rounds of the sweet shrimp, yellow tail nigiri, salmon nigiri, wagyu nigiri with caviar (only one round). And the other sides were a nice variety - corn cheese, cucumber salad, and steamed egg. I also liked how you can order more food on the tablets at your table. Saves you the time and effort of having to flag a waiter down and putting in your order. Very efficient and you can order more food at your own pace!

Came here at noon on a Tuesday and there was no wait even after our 90 minutes were up. Our server, Min Tzu, was super sweet. Each table will be charged the same price, so if one person wants the Diamond Tier, everyone is charged that price. We all decided on the Gold Tier since we weren't here to consume any alcohol. At the start of the timer, everyone with the Gold Tier gets to choose either the A5 Wagyu Tender Meat or A5 Wagyu Otoro. It can only be ordered once/person. My family enjoyed the A5 Wagyu Otoro the most. Min Tzu started us off with the top 6 meats. Once an order is sent to the kitchen, there's a 6 minute timer before the next 6 items can be ordered. The M9 Wagyu Brisket and M9 Wagyu Top Blade were our favorites. The Wagyu Nigiri and Steamed Egg were our favorite appetizers. If there's one appetizer to get, the Steamed Egg takes the cake. The bonito flakes on top were the cherry on top. We were incredibly stuffed after we could no longer order off the iPad, yet Min Tzu offered us a "Last Call" for the kitchen. We couldn't eat anymore and opted for ice cream (mango, cookies & cream, or ube). I loved the ube ice cream. I'd definitely come back. It's a great deal for Japanese AYCE A5 Wagyu. The restaurant is clean and the staff is kind, generous, attentive, and quick. I'd say the best service I've received at any AYCE restaurant.
